Butler Urgent Medicine is a walk-in, first come, first serve clinic for minor emergencies such as cuts, nosebleeds, foreign body objects, and injuries. We also provide care for sudden onset illnesses such as sore throats, urinary tract infections, colds and coughs, and sexual health. Please see our extensive list of services.
You never need an appointment – in fact, we don’t take appointments, just walk on in. You won’t be seeing a NP or PA – you’ll be sent directly to one of our physicians.
We are open Wednesday – Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM. Please arrive before 6 PM: our ‘last call’ for patients is between 6 PM and 6:15 PM, and no new patients will be signed in after that point.
We are also open Saturdays, from 9 AM to 2 PM, with last call at 1:15 PM.
We understand that these hours do not meet everyone’s requirements and emergency needs and our plan is to grow with community needs. Our goal is to eventually add another physician and be open 6 days a week. Until then, please accept our apologies for the days we are not open and cannot meet your needs.
We can handle all of your urgent care needs, but Butler Urgent Medicine isn’t a replacement for a Primary Care Physician. Due to legal, insurance, and time constraints, we’re only allowed to handle one problem per visit, though you can return the next day for a different issue if necessary.
Urgent Care is our specialty however in a rural community with limited access to primary care physicians and appointments our goal is to get everyone access to medical care! While not considered a primary care office, we will help start care, solve problems, manage care from specialists, refer you when your needs outstretch what our office can provide and do whatever we can to give you the care you need. Please understand that as a small private practice we may have to refer you for specialty or complex care.
For emergency medicine, such as life threatening injury, heart attack, stroke, or more, dial 911.
